TRICONEX 3301 also known as DI3301 is a 32-channel TMR digital input module designed for Triconex Trident safety instrumented system (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module adopts triple modular redundancy architecture and 2-out-of-3 voting logic, collecting 24VDC discrete field signals from limit switches, proximity sensors and dry contact switches and transmitting the digital status data to the Trident main controller. The Tricon digital input module features channel isolation protection to suppress electrical interference and ground loop noise from field wiring. Built-in continuous self-diagnostics can detect open circuit, short circuit and internal hardware faults, and upload fault alarms to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module health status and each channel signal state for fast on-site troubleshooting. It fully meets SIL3 safety integrity level requirements and can be installed in standard Trident rack together with Trident processor and other I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 3301 digital input module is used for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas monitoring and other safety-critical control systems.
